How to Choose an Evil Eye Bead Supplier

Most companies selling evil eye beads online are resellers, not producers. Here is how to tell a real evil eye bead supplier from a middleman before you order, which questions expose the difference in one message, and why buying from the workshop changes your price and your lead time.

Search for wholesale evil eye beads and you will find dozens of companies with similar photographs, similar catalogues and similar promises. Most of them are buying from the same handful of workshops and adding a margin. There is nothing wrong with that — but you are paying for it, and it changes what the supplier can actually do for you.

Three questions that settle it

You can usually tell a producer from a reseller with three questions in a single message.

Can you produce this in a specific colour? A workshop will tell you yes or no, give you a lead time, and mention a minimum for that colour. A reseller will be vague, or will say yes to everything without a timeline.

What is the gross weight and box size for this quantity? Someone who packs the goods knows this immediately. Someone who drop-ships it does not.

Can I see the production? A producer can send photographs or video of the workshop, ideally with your own order in it. A reseller will send you stock photos.

Why it matters beyond price

The obvious effect of buying direct is that you remove a margin. The less obvious effects usually matter more over a year of trading.

Consistency is one. When you reorder a colour from a workshop, it comes from the same process with the same materials. When you reorder from a reseller, it may come from a different workshop entirely, and your customers will see the difference on the shelf.

Lead time is another. A producer schedules your order. A reseller has to wait for their supplier, so every delay is passed to you with an explanation rather than a solution.

And flexibility. Custom colours, a specific cord, your own packaging — these are production decisions. Only the producer can actually make them.

What to check before a first order

Ask for the company's own photographs rather than catalogue images. Ask what their minimum order is and whether it can be mixed — a supplier who insists on 500 of a single item is set up for containers, not for shops. Confirm they issue proper export documents, and for EU buyers, that they can provide an A.TR certificate.

Then order a small quantity and judge the result. One shipment answers more than a month of emails.
